Where To Go For Pittsburgh's Best Cinco De Mayo Maragitas
Downtown restaurants Bakersfield, tako rank high on the list.

PITTSBURGH, PA - With Cinco de Mayo falling on a Friday this year, there might be extra incentive to celebrate the Mexican Army’s improbable victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
And what better way to mark the occasion -- and the start of a weekend of Pittsburgh Marathon activities -- than with a tasty margarita?
With that thought in mind, we turned to Yelp to see which bars and restaurants serve the tastiest margaritas. Here’s how Yelp users have them ranked:

2. Tako, Sixth Street, Downtown
Offered one imbiber: “I order the spicy cucumber margarita and hands down was one of the best margaritas I've had.”

3. Tres Rios, East Carson Street, South Side.
Said one patron: “The apple pear margarita was made with a pretty strong, fancy tequila (lol can you tell I don't really drink tequila?), pear, cinnamon, and clove.”
4. La Palapa Mexican Gourmet Kitchen, East Carson Street, South Side
Best come prepared to this place. Said one reviewer:” It's BYOB, and they serve a non alcoholic margarita mixer. All you have to do is bring your own tequila. What’s not to love?”

6. Patron Mexican Grill, South Highland Avenue, Highland Park
We’re not sure why this place was ranked so highly. The most favorable review we could find was this:”The margaritas were not good! I got a strawberry and lime margarita and they both had a very weird mint taste to them.”
7 .Round Corner Cantina, Butler Street, Lawrenceville
Said one patron: “The house made margaritas were great! Served in mason jars with fresh lime slices and salty rims.”
8. Seviche, Penn Avenue, Downtown

9. Casa Reyna, Penn Avenue, Strip District
Said this imbiber: “All of their margaritas are made fresh as well with fruit juices and agave nectar. Try the guava margarita if it's on special. Amazing.”
10. Mad Mex, various locations
Said one reviewer: “Highly suggest the Big Azz Margarita.”
