PITTSBURGH, PA - Legendary rockers The Who announced a 29-city tour Monday that will include a stop in Pittsburgh with symphonic accompaniment. The band, featuring founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, will bring the Moving On! Tour to PPG Paints Arena on May 30.

The Who last played Pittsburgh in 2016.

The band will be releasing its first album of new songs in 13 years later this year. On stage, the lineup will be rounded out by guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey, and complemented by various orchestras.

“Be aware Who fans,” Daltrey said in a statement. “Just because it's The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music. This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on."
