Woman Killed, Found Dead In Apartment After Reported Domestic Dispute: Police

PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead in an apartment following a reported domestic dispute on Sunday in Pittsburgh, authorities said.

Officers responded just before 2 p.m. to the 700 block of Montclair Street in the Greenfield neighborhood after receiving a report of a verbal dispute and arrived to find the woman dead and a man in a bedroom, according to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.

The man resisted officers as they tried to take him into custody and he was brought to a hospital after the encounter, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

Multiple shell casings were found at the scene, according to authorities.
