Woman Stabbed In Neck At Point State Park, 2 Arrested: Police
Police said the woman was "slashed in the neck with a sharp object" while at the riverwalk in Pittsburgh's Point State Park.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people are in police custody after authorities said they stabbed a woman in the neck at Point State Park in Pittsburgh.
Authorities said officers were called to the riverwalk on the Monongahela River side of Point State Park shortly after 9:45 p.m. for a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been "slashed in the neck with a sharp object," police said.
Medics took the woman to the hospital where she was in stable condition, authorities said.

According to a WPXI report citing a Pittsburgh police lieutenant, multiple people witnessed the woman being stabbed.
"There were people around when it happened, and in fact, this woman is probably still alive because of their actions and their assistance in saving her life," the unidentified lieutenant told WPXI.

A man and a woman are in police custody following the stabbing, authorities said. Police did not identify the suspects and said charges are pending.
