Woman Struck, Killed By Shuttle Bus In Pittsburgh
The incident occurred Wednesday morning, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman was struck by a shuttle bus in Oakland this morning near the University of Pittsburgh's Petersen Events Center.
Police, fire and EMS were dispatched at 9:25 a.m. to Terrace Street and Sutherland Drive, where they found the woman unconscious and in cardiac arrest. Bystanders had administered CPR until firefighters took over.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Public safety officials said on Wednesday afternoon that she died from her injuries.
