Yinzer Valentine's Day Cards Now In Stores N'at

PITTSBURGH, PA - If you’re the type of person who favors sweet and sentimental Valentine’s Day cards, these aren’t for you. But if you are a local familiar with the humorous stylings of comedian Jim Krenn, KDKA-AM morning host Larry Richert and cartoonist Rob Rogers, you’ll likely get a chuckle out of this seasonally appropriate batch of Yinzer Cards.

The cards debuted Tuesday in the greeting card aisle of Giant Eagle and Market District stores and also are available online. They retail for $4.99.

“They are not exactly your grandmother’s Valentine greeting card,” said Krenn, the former WDVE morning show host who started the card line with Richert and Rogers in May 2018. “We wanted to strike a more casual and fun tone with a new kind of card.”

A portion of the sale proceeds will also benefit Animal Friends, the non-profit companion animal resource center.
