Youngstown area residents among 2017 Thiel College graduating class
Five Youngstown area residents recently graduated from Thiel College.
More than 180 Thiel College students were awarded degrees during the College’s 143rd Commencement Exercises on May 7 in the William A. Passavant Memorial Center. Nearly 50% of this year's class was awarded cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude designation, which is above published figures for the national average.
Graduating students from Youngstown area communities are:
- Alana Callahan, Austintown
- Caitlyn Carney, Lake Milton
- Sereen Thomas, Niles
- Aelita Ferrante, Warren
- Kyler Jefferson, Warren
