State prosecutors say the alleged trafficking at Plains Township locations ran from 2021 through 2023, and both defendants remain jailed as their attorneys prepare motions and defenses.
   

• Local unemployment rate continues slight decline (standardspeaker.com) — If you live or work in Plains Township, the latest jobs report brings modestly good news: unemployment in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, including Luzerne County, edged down again in July.
