• Spring 2027 trials likely for two alleged human traffickers (timesleader.com) — Residents of Plains Township should know that two men accused of forcing women into prostitution at local motels are now likely headed for separate trials in early 2027. State prosecutors say the alleged trafficking at Plains Township locations ran from 2021 through 2023, and both defendants remain jailed as their attorneys prepare motions and defenses.
