The superintendent referenced Pleasant Hills Middle School in stressing the district does not condone the reported conduct, though officials have not disclosed the teacher's current employment status.
   

• Woman accused of stealing donation jar that helps pets in need arrested (wpxi.com) — A woman was arrested after Pleasant Hills police say she stole a donation jar from the PetVet365 clinic that supports the Daisy Fund, which helps local pets receive needed care. The theft, captured on surveillance video, upset pet owners and the clinic's veterinarian, who now hopes the incident spurs more awareness and donations for the fund benefiting area animals.
