2 Men Sought For Forging $100K In Checks In Plymouth: Cops

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — Two men are sought for forging checks which caused a total loss of more than $100,000 to multiple victims, the Plymouth Township Police Department said.

Alphonso Richardson, 28, and Hakim Abdurahim Culbreth, 33, both of Philadelphia, are wanted on an array of charges in connection to the incidents, police said.

An investigation began at the Wells Fargo branch in Plymouth Township, where Richardson cashed $8,000 in forged checks and Culbreth cashed $5,400 in forged checks, according to authorities.

An investigation revealed that the pair had ripped off several victims, and that their total damages inflicted were in excess of $100,000.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of both men. They face charges of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, forgery, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, identity theft, and related counts.
