PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — The Plymouth Meeting Mall's latest attraction is now open: 5 Wits, an immersive, hands-on escape room-style experience.
County and tourism officials celebrated the grand opening of the new center on Nov. 2.
"Players at 5 Wits enjoy being part of an adventure, solving puzzles and engaging with challenges," said Matt DuPlessie, founder and president of The 5 Wits Companies.

Visitors can enjoy three different types of adventures, according to the company:
- Drago’s Castle: In this medieval-themed adventure, players team up with a tough and smart princess to catch a dragon. They’ll need to escape the dungeon, solve ancient riddles, and watch out for the dragon while exploring the castle.
- Tomb: Players enter a 3,000-year-old tomb inhabited by an angry Pharaoh, where they are challenged to solve ancient puzzles in hieroglyphics and match the Pharaoh at his own game. Those who fail may be trapped in the burial chamber for all eternity!
- Espionage: The clock is ticking and world security is on the line as players infiltrate enemy headquarters to avert a global catastrophe. They’ll dodge lasers, crawl through vents and disarm a missile in this action-packed spy thriller!
The mall announced back in July that 5 Wits was coming. It marks the second major interactive entertainment experience to open in the suddenly resurgent mall, following Legoland.
