FROM BRAINSTORM TO STAGE: A TEEN SKETCH COMEDY WRITING

This isn't your average English class. This is a high-energy, collaborative workshop designed to help you bring out the funny. Whether you’re the class clown or the quiet observer, you’ll learn the tools used by pros at SNLThe Second City, and Key & Peele and some of your favorite creators on TikTok.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The Premise: How to find the "weird" in the everyday.
  • The Game: How to escalate a funny situation until it explodes.
  • Character Building: Writing dialogue that jumps off the page.
  • The Table Read: Hearing your words come to life with a cast of actors.
