Sketchbook Sessions is a space where teens in grades 6-12 can create and experiment in their sketchbooks.&nbsp;Each week teens will have the opportunity to explore materials, styles and subject matter.&nbsp;These sessions serve as a way to build daily habits, reduce perfectionism, and explore new materials.
No registration required. Bring your sketch book (or use our materials) and drop in!

Latanya (Tanya) Morgan is a Philadelphia based actor, writer, director, certified trauma informed teaching artist, improv performer, acting and improv coach, applied improv corporate trainer and owner/operator of Sawubona Creativity Project(<a href="https://sawubonacreativityproject.org/)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">sawubonacreativityproject.org/).</a> Tanya has been acting on stage, in films and commercials for over 20 years. She spent time as a writer and performer on one of the most popular Philly sketch teams, The Rhubarbs. Tanya performs improv comedy monthly with indie improv teams: Daddy Issues, The NCrowd, NYTEShift, No Diggity and Not Yet Rated.

A variety of critters will come to the library to meet visitors of all ages! We'll see and learn about snakes, skinks, geckos, turtles, tortoises, hissing cockroaches, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! We'll learn about the proper handling, eating habits, defense mechanisms and habitats of these animals. Participants will get a close-up look at all of the animals and have an opportunity to touch and hold them.
