Children in grades 3-5 will take on the role of HVAC engineers & technicians in a rapidly growing city, where hundreds of thousands of square feet of new buildings demand efficient climate control.
Their challenge: to design and build a functioning air conditioning and ductwork system that delivers clean, consistent air to a designated space. Through this project, students will explore thermal energy transfer, airflow dynamics, insulation, and the real-world importance of sustainable building systems.
Registration is required.
