Center For Autism To Train Plymouth Township Police Department

The Plymouth Township Police Department will have its entire force trained on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

PLYMOUTH, PA — The Plymouth Township Police Department will have its entire force trained on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Center for Autism & Ruttenberg Autism Center will execute the training on Wednesday, April 25 at 9 a.m.

"There have been far too many incidents reported in recent years of interactions between law enforcement & people with ASD going horribly wrong. This training is highlighting how one local township is doing its part to understand a complicated disorder, and to better address the needs of its community members," said Jessica Bollard, communications director at the Center.
