For the 2021 Read Across America week, the Colonial Education Association (the teachers in the Colonial School District) encouraged students to "find themselves" in a book.

The 2021 Read Across America theme is "celebrating a nation of diverse readers," and Colonial has plenty of readers who'd like to share!

Below you'll find a video of elementary students and a video of secondary students talking about how they see themselves in a character from a book they've read.
