Dirt Bike Crash Leads To Fatality In Montco: Report

POTTSTOWN, PA -- One person was killed in a crash in Pottstown early Thursday morning, according to a report.

The incident occurred on Diamond Street near North Evans Street at about 8 a.m.

An individual was driving a dirt bike north in the alley between North Evans Street and North Charlotte Street when it hit the van in the intersection, the report states.

The driver slammed into the side of the van and was killed instantly, the Pottstown Mercury reports.

The driver of the van, along with a child in the backseat, were not injured in the crash.

An autopsy is reportedly expected Friday. The release of the victim’s name is pending notificatin of next of kin.
