Local Author Captures Conshy History in Upcoming Book

Times Herald reports on the 485-page book.

Jack Coll, a Conshohocken resident who includes "historian" as one of his many hats, hopes to capture the history of the Borough in his upcoming book, "Tales of Conshohocken and Beyond," The Times Herald reports.

According to the Herald, Coll assembled 485 photographs and 290 pages of words over 11 years for the book, although he doesn't plan to have it read as a history lesson.

"It’s stories. There’s no history of the Alan Wood Steel company in this book. There’s no history of Lee Tires. We’ve told those stories. People don’t need to read those histories again. It’s all stories and there’s hundreds of them to tell," Coll told the Herald.

The book will not be in stores, but pre-orders will be accepted before July 1. Visit The Times Herald to learn more about the book and its author, and for ordering information.
