Mission Kids Launches Student Artwork Contest To Celebrate New Facility
Winning students can receive $100 and will have their work displayed in the new state of the art facility.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — A Montgomery County advocacy network that helps children navigate abuse readying to open its new state-of-the-art facility in Plymouth Meeting.
The new home of Mission Kids Advocacy Center, on 521 Plymouth Road, features mock courtrooms and a mock apartment for children to help prepare to give testimony, an expanded trauma therapy suite, a pediatric medical examination suite, and more.
To celebrate the opening, Mission Kids has launched a student sculpture artwork contest. Winning selections will be displayed in the building.

"We want young people in our community to be part of this exciting new chapter for Mission Kids," Leslie Slingsby, Mission Kids CEO, said in a statement. "Displaying student artwork in our new space is a meaningful way to celebrate creativity and bring the community into a place designed for healing and support."
The contest calls for an original three-dimensional sculpture inspired by the theme "To Inspire and Foster Hope." The maximum size is 12 inches by 12 inches.

Submissions are due Sunday, March 29. Winners will be announced April 1.
In addition to some pieces being displayed, sixteen students will be selected to receive a $100 gift card.
