Steven Newton, owner of Mission BBQ, explained the purpose of his business:

"It is our mission to give friends and neighbors a place they can feel good about while sitting down to a great meal prepared the American way. We also believe in giving back to our community, so some of the proceeds from your lunch or dinner could be helping out the same people sitting next to you: your local firefighters, police officers, or a member of our military that has answered the call to defend freedom. Charities that make a difference, for those in need, right here at home."
