We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "Intersection of Joshua and Flourtown. Turning left on Joshua from Flourtown in either direction can be very dangerous."
- "Wish they didn't get rid of the second lane on ridge headed towards Joshua. Major back ups because cars start to take over 2 lanes so they don't have others merging in front of them."
- "Plymouth cops doing 110 mph out of the police station heading toward Sandy Hill, no lights, no sirens and kids everywhere. Been going on for at least 15 years"
- "Depends on the season I guess. First thing that comes to my mind is snow removal."
- "No sidewalk on Chemical Road between Ridge Pike and The Metroplex."
- "Turning right from Plymouth Road to Germantown Pike. There are two right turn lanes, one is right turn only, the other is straight/right turn."
- "Need pedestrian lights at Chemical and Germantown intersections."
- "Lack of sidewalks"
- "The police"
