Manager Pleads Guilty To Bilking Montco Condo Owners of $600K

"PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (CBS) — The former general manager of a Montgomery County condominium complex has admitted in court that he stole nearly $600,000 in a scheme he was running with vendors and service providers over a nine-year period.
County prosecutors say Vincent Lopez (top left photo) had agreements with those vendors and service providers to purposely overcharge the condo association at the Plymouth Hill Condos in Plymouth Meeting, and then they would split the proceeds."

Plymouth Meeting resident Della Micah keeps a blog on a pair of Red Tail Hawks that nest on a ledge of the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, father hawk went missing recently, leaving the female hawk to tend to her young on her own, and prompting Philly.com to cover the story. It's pretty fascinating reading, although the pictures of dead rodents may make some a bit uneasy.

Former Abington Heights wrestler to run 'death race' to raise money for cancer fight

Michael Ubaldini, A former Abington Heights wrestler is participating in the "Spartan Death Race" in Pittsfield, Vt., to raise funds in honor of Nick Mincarelli, the Plymouth Elementary School student who lost his battle with cancer last March. Ubaldini's wife is a teacher at the school.
