School Distrcit Releases 2011-2012 Enrollment Numbers
Over 4,500 students attend school in the Colonial district.
The Colonial School District released its enrollment breakdown for the 2011-2012 school year at the district's Board of School Director's meeting on Thursday.
While the complete stats are listed below, the numbers revealed the following facts about the district for this current school year:
- Plymouth Elementary School has the highest enrollment of any district elementary school serving kindergarten through third-grade-aged students with 457. Conshohocken Elementary has the lowest enrollment in the same category with 158.
- 2,039 elementary school students are currently enrolled in the Colonial School District for the 2011-2012 year.
- All the district's elementary schools except for Colonial Elementary came in under the 2009 national average for number of students enrolled per school. The national average is 517, Colonial Elementary's enrollment is 719
