SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Montgomery County woman was kidnapped at knifepoint and forced to drive a man into the city to buy drugs, police said.
The incident occurred on June 5 at around 10 p.m. outside a Springfield Township home.

Gordon held a knife to her while he demanded money, forcing her back into her apartment where he stole cash and her ATM card, according to police.
He then made her drive to an ATM at Santander Bank in the Flourtown Shopping Center to take out additional money, and then into nearby Philadelphia to buy drugs, according to police.

Gordon tried to get her to drop him off at his vehicle, but his vehicle had been towed due to a parking complaint, authorities said.
Eventually Gordon got out of the car in Willow Grove, threatening the woman and making her fear reporting the incident, police said.
The woman did report the incident on June 8, and Gordon was taken into custody within 24 hours.
Springfield Township Detectives and local SWAT teams executed two search warrants that led to the arrest.
Bail was denied and Gordon was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. He was charged with kidnapping, robbery, burglary, theft, and related counts.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
