• State Police Cite 20-Year-Old Driver in Irwin Township Crash (explorevenango.com) — Local readers should know that Polk Police assisted state troopers at a single-vehicle crash on May 29 at the Route 8 exit ramp to Georgetown Road in Irwin Township. A 20-year-old Stoneboro driver hit a tree, was uninjured, and was cited for unsafe speed after his heavily damaged car was towed from the scene.
