• Police identify man killed in Upper Pottsgrove officer-involved shooting (fox29.com) — A 22-year-old man was shot and killed by an Upper Pottsgrove Township police officer early Sunday outside a Snyder Road home after a 911 call about a possible break-in, and county detectives are now investigating. Family members say he was unarmed, had been out drinking, and mistakenly believed he was entering a friend's house, leaving relatives and neighbors demanding answers about how the encounter was handled.

Surveillance video reportedly captured the brief encounter, now under review by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office as the family remembers their son's upbeat personality and baseball dreams.
