A 50-ton crane reportedly crashed through a bridge in Lower Pottsgrove as part of a bizarre Monday morning in the area.

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — A 50-ton crane reportedly crashed through a bridge in Lower Pottsgrove as part of a bizarre Monday morning in the area.
The incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on a small wooden bridge off of Sunnybrook Road, according to authorities.
6ABC reports that the truck rolled off the side of the bridge after part of the wooden surface began to give way.

The bridge had a weight limit of 2 tons, according to WFMZ.
The truck was driving the crane back from the Sunnybrook Ballroom, and had already driven over the bridge once successfully on the way in, reports state.
