• Foundation offering community voices grants (dailylocal.com) — Pottstown organizations can now apply for Community Voices grants of up to $15,000 to support local health, safety, education, and employment projects in disinvested neighborhoods. Applications are open through April 30, with residents helping set priorities and choose grantees. Nonprofits serving the defined Pottstown area are eligible, and awards will be announced in June.    

• Repair Cafe brings together neighbors with broken items and the experts to fix them (abc7.com) — A Royersford church’s Repair Cafe is drawing neighbors from across the region, including a Pottstown resident who brought in a broken vacuum plug to save money and reduce waste. Volunteers fix everything from dolls to electronics, turning sustainability into a hands-on, community-building event that welcomes anyone willing to repair instead of throw away.
