• Public pianos placed in downtown Pottstown (readingeagle.com) — Downtown Pottstown is getting two colorful public pianos where you can sit down and play anytime, turning everyday spaces into impromptu music spots. The Pottstown Public Arts Committee and local partners are inviting residents to help design, paint, and enjoy the instruments, while also encouraging donations to support more community-driven arts projects around the borough.
• Montgomery County rededicates 9/11 memorial on 25th anniversary (pottsmerc.com subscription) — Montgomery County has rededicated its 9/11 memorial at Elmwood Park in Norristown, creating a more accessible place for reflection just a short drive from Pottstown. Local residents, officials, and Pottstown-based photographers contributed to a ceremony focused on remembrance, education for younger generations, and honoring first responders and victims 25 years after the attacks.
