A Killer's Confession share new single 'Roses' (nextmosh.com) — Rock band A Killer's Confession is bringing their fall "Everything Comes Full Circle" tour to Cosmic Arts in Pottstown on November 7, supporting their new album Victim 3. Fans can expect to hear the new single "Roses," their cover of "Blinding Lights," and other fresh tracks as part of a packed North American tour schedule.
2. High School Roundup (Sept. 21): Pottsgrove VB posts sixth win in past seven matches with sweep of Coatesville (pottsmerc.com subscription) — Pottstown High boys soccer finally broke through with an 8–2 home win over Lincoln Leadership Academy, snapping a long losing streak and giving first-year coach Carlos Olvera his first victory. The roundup also highlights strong performances by nearby Pottsgrove, Boyertown, and Pope John Paul II teams in volleyball, soccer, field hockey, and tennis.
3. Five of 8 Grant-Winning Water Quality Projects are Local (travelswiththepost.com) — Pottstown's own Schuylkill River Greenways has awarded more than $650,000 to eight projects aimed at improving water quality across the Schuylkill River watershed, including nearby Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties. Local efforts will restore stream banks, reduce farm runoff, and plant thousands of native trees and shrubs, helping protect drinking water and recreation areas used by Pottstown-area residents.
4. Pottstown Man Faces 20 Felonies in Storage Facility Case (mychesco.com) — A 54-year-old Pottstown man has been charged with 20 felony counts after North Coventry Township police investigated a series of alleged burglaries and thefts at the CubeSmart storage facility on West Schuylkill Road. Authorities say property belonging to the business and renters was taken, and they emphasize that all defendants, including the Pottstown resident, remain presumed innocent.
