Keystone Villa at Douglassville invites the public to its monthly dementia education and support group, bringing family caregivers together in a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, gain helpful insights and resources, and find moments of joy.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month at the personal care building, 1152 Ben Franklin Highway E. Attendance is free.
Join us Thursday, Oct. 1, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to learn “Is It Normal Aging or Something More?” Saige Via, memory care director, will help you recognize the early warning signs of dementia and distinguish normal age-related changes from symptoms that may warrant further evaluation. Additionally, you’ll discover what changes to look for when spending time with an aging loved one whom you may not see regularly, as well as how to approach concerns with compassion, sensitivity, and understanding. A complimentary light dinner will be provided.
Limited seating; please RSVP by Sept. 28 to 610-385-5002.
