
MacElree Harvey, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Patrick J. Gallo, Jr. has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s civil and commercial litigation department. Patrick concentrates his practice on a broad range of litigation matters, with an emphasis on complex commercial and business-related issues. He also counsels clients on business disputes.
Before joining MacElree Harvey, Patrick was a summer associate and law clerk for the Firm. He also served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary Alice Brennan of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. In addition, while pursuing his law degree, Patrick was a high school social studies teacher. During law school, Patrick served as the Articles Editor for the Widener Journal of Law, Economics and Race. He also served on the Student Bar Association’s Executive Board and was a member of both the Trial Advocacy and Moot Court Honor Societies. In addition, Patrick traveled to Northern Ireland and Ireland to study law at both Queen’s University in Belfast and Independent College in Dublin. He also participated in Widener Law’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. Patrick is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations, as well as the Chester County Bar Foundation. A graduate of West Chester University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2009), Patrick received his law degree from Widener University School of Law (2013).
While in law school, Patrick was the recipient of Widener Law’s Merit Scholarship Award and the E. Wallace Chadwick Memorial Scholarship Award. Patrick also garnered numerous accolades during his undergraduate studies where he played football for the West Chester University Golden Rams, including the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties Award, the West Chester University Student-Athlete Award, the PSAC Scholar-Athlete Award, and the NCAA Athletic Director’s Academic Achievement Award.
