He became the caretaker of Mason in 2012 when his father died, according to reports. Police were first tipped off when Mason's monthly bill of $7,700 at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill, her assisted living facility, went unpaid.

Turner used hundreds of thousands of dollars of Mason's money to buy two houses in Philadelphia and a lot in Pottstown, authorities allege. He is also accused of spending $15,556 at a strip club in Las Vegas and spending $73,282 on food, liquor, and cell phones, among other various expenses, all on Mason's dime.
