The fundraiser includes a giveaway of free, quality brake pads or shoes with any brake job—the customer simply pays for labor and other necessary parts. Of the proceeds, AAMCO Pottstown will donate 10% to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund and 100% of what is donated goes directly to research.

Joseph “Joe” Kincade, when asked about his commitment to this project, commented, “We are so proud of the work we have been able to do to support breast cancer awareness and research for a vaccine. Most people know someone who has been diagnosed with this terrible disease and I’m encouraged by the work of Dr. Tuohy at the Cleveland Clinic to bring hope to those impacted.” Dr. Tuohy is the lead researcher of the promising vaccine. According to Brakes for Breasts, clinical trials are expected to start in 2020.
