Pottstown Murder Suspect Captured In Connecticut, Police Say
Breaking: The man suspected in the Easter Sunday slaying of a 23-year-old woman in Pottstown was found in Connecticut, authorities said.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- The man suspected in the Easter Sunday slaying of a 23-year-old woman in Pottstown was found in Connecticut, authorities said.
Bobbie Mitchell, 26, was tracked to a residence in the town of Waterbury by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
"This dangerous criminal...is now safely and quickly behind bars thanks to law enforcement colleagues in Connecticut," DA Kevin Steele said in a statement Wednesday. "I also want to thank the media for alerting the public to the fact that this man was being sought.

Mitchell is currently being held in Connecticut and will be extradited shortly to Montgomery County.
He is wanted for the killing of Siani Overby, 23, in the early morning hours of April 1. Overby's mother told police that Overby and Mitchell have an 18-month-old child together, and that Overby wanted Mitchell to take a paternity test and provide child support.
