Pottstown Student Named National Siemens Competition Semifinalist
A student from the Hill School in Pottstown has been named a semifinalist in the national Siemens scholarship competition.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A Hill School student has been named a semifinalist in the national Siemens competition, which recognizes the achievements in math, science and technology among the country's brightest students.
Jinhyung Park of The Hill School in Pottstown was one of the three Pennsylvania students to be accorded the rare honor. Methacton's Jeremy Wangand Roy Ghosh of Parkland High School in Allentown were also named semifinalists.
Students from around the nation submit research projects which are judged through a series of stages.

The semifinalists will be broken up into groups to compete in regional competitions in November. From there, the winners will compete in the national finals at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in December.
The top winner will receive a $100,000 scholarship.

Any student who makes it to the nationals will receive at least $25,000.
