Spring-Ford Ninth Grade Center Locked Down for Drug Sweep
No drugs were found during the previously-planned drug sweep.

Students at the Spring-Ford Area Ninth Grade Center were placed in lockdown Friday morning as police and school officials conducted a surprise drug sweep of the facility.
Limerick Township Police Chief William Albany said students were kept in classrooms as police assisted by drug-sniffing dogs proceeded past lockers and student common areas.
Students had no contact with the dogs or with law enforcement as the operation progressed, Albany said.
