A $5,500 Scam, Fleeing UTV, and an Inmate Altercation Keep Troopers Busy in the Region (gantnews.com) — State Police say an 80-year-old Punxsutawney woman lost about $5,500 in an online gift card scam, and PSP Punxsutawney also handled a fight between inmates at the Jefferson County Jail. Troopers are additionally seeking tips on a side-by-side that fled a traffic stop in Eldred Township, underscoring ongoing safety concerns around the region. 
2. Troopers still searching for answers in two decades old Punsutawney missing man case (wtaj.com) — State police are renewing attention on a long-unsolved missing person case tied to Punxsutawney, offering a $5,000 reward for information on 64-year-old Ronald Westover, last seen in March 2005. Troopers urge anyone who may remember details from that time to contact the PSP Punxsutawney station or submit an anonymous tip online or by phone.
3. Noah Farrell Game Report: vs Montour (maxpreps.com) — Punxsutawney baseball fans will recognize their home field on Noah Farrell’s recent strikeout list, as he fanned 12 batters there during a dominant stretch on the mound. State Police: Jefferson County Man Faces Assault Charges for Separate Incidents on Consecutive Days (gantnews.com) — Pennsylvania State Police based in Punxsutawney have charged a Summerville man with multiple counts of simple assault and harassment after two alleged domestic incidents in Jefferson County on consecutive days. He remains in Jefferson County Jail on $20,000 total bail, with preliminary hearings set for June 10 before Judge Gregory Bazylak.
