According to the list, which used information from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting database to generate the ranks, Darby Borough is the No. 2 most dangerous city in the nation. Chester City came in at No. 14.

The ranks are based on the average rate of violent crime, per 100,000 people, and the FBI data from 2010 to 2014, which were the most recent years available.
