2 Radnor Bridges Being Replaced, Work To Last Through 2020
Beginning Monday, PennDOT will replace two bridges that carry Darby-Paoli Road over Little Darby Creek and Wigwam Run in Radnor.

RADNOR, PA — Two bridges in Radnor Township will be replaced, and the entire project is expected to last through the year's end, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 13 on a project to replace two bridges that carry Darby-Paoli Road over Little Darby Creek and Wigwam Run in Radnor.
Starting Monday, Darby Paoli Road will close between Newtown Road and Godfrey Road through early May, for construction of the Wigwam Run structure.

During the closure, Darby Paoli Road motorists will be detoured over Goshen Road, Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and St. David’s Road.
After work on that bridge is done, Darby-Paoli Road will be closed between Brooke Road and Newtown Road for construction of the Little Darby Creek bridge.

The posted detour will use Church Road, St. David’s Road, Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and Goshen Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones during the entire length of construction. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
The public is urged to use caution during the project.
