2 Radnor Roads Affected By Work Through September, October

Bryn Mawr Avenue will close during the week while Newtown Road/Radnor-Chester Road will be restricted weekdays as well, PennDOT said.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Two Radnor Township Road will be affected by gas and water main installations through September and October, according to PennDOT.

Newtown Road/Radnor-Chester Road is Radnor will be restricted for a month to accommodate gas main work, according to PennDOT

PECO is planning weekday lane restrictions on Newtown Road/Radnor-Chester Road between Abrahams Lane and Conestoga Road in Radnor Monday, Aug. 13, through Monday, Sept. 10.

Restrictions will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said

Additionally, Bryn Mawr Avenue will be closed between Dartmouth Road and Moore Avenue Aug. 13, through mid-October.

The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main installation.

During the weekday closure, Bryn Mawr Avenue motorists will be detoured over Route 320/Sproul Road, U.S. 30/Lancaster Avenue and County Line Road.

Local access will be maintained up to construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near these work areas.
