For those of you who have passed Berwyn Montessori in the month of October, I'm sure you've noticed our adorable scarecrow kids with brightly colored pumpkin heads hanging along our fence. The children of Berwyn Montessori stuff their own clothing to make these scarecrows and love the attention their wonderful scarecrows receive from neighbors and passersby! We would like to share the opportunity to make one of our famous Berwyn Montessori scarecrows with others! The event will be an open house and scarecrow stuffing from Tuesday Oct 1-Thursday Oct 3. Please try to come either in the morning between the hours of 8:30 and 11:30 or in the afternoon between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00. During your visit your child will stuff a scarecrow that will make a great decoration for your home for the fall season. Berwyn Montessori will gladly provide any child with old clothing to make their scarecrow. If you would like your child to personalize their own scarecrow please bring the following ....
- long sleeved shirt (turtlenecks,sweatshirts,and jackets work well)
-long pants(jeans,overalls,sweatpants)
-dresses and tights are also great!
- socks and shoes(not necessary but add a funny look!)
-hats, wigs, or accessories that can be easily attached
