Check Stolen From Radnor Mailbox, Fraudulently Cashed: Police
Police said a St. Davids resident put a check in the mail, but it was stolen, altered, and fraudulently cashed.
ST. DAVIDS, PA — Police in Radnor said a check was stolen from a residential mailbox then fraudulently cashed.
According to police, a resident of the 400 block of Meadowbrook Avenue put a check in the mail for bill payment on Jan. 26.
On April 26, the resident learned the check was cashed after the amount was altered, police said.
