Conestoga Road Closing Weekdays In Radnor Through Early 2020

According to PennDOT, gas main work will affect daytime traffic during the week on Conestoga Road in Radnor beginning Aug. 5.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Conestoga Road in Radnor will be closed weekdays for about six months due to gas main work, according to PennDOT.

PECO will close the road weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 5. The weekday closures will be in effect through early January 2020. PennDOT said its contractor may do some work on weekends if needed.

The affected area is between Parkes Run Lane and Church Road

Drivers will be detoured to use Sproul Road/Route 320, Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30, and Wayne Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
