Conestoga Road-Spring Mill Road Intersection Closure Extended

Radnor officials said the extension of the intersection's closure is due to unforeseen conditions with pipe connection elevations.

VILLANOVA, PA — The road closure at Conestoga and Spring Mill roads in Villanova has been extended, according to Radnor Township officials.

Officials said Aqua Pennsylvania extended the road closure through Friday as due to unforeseen conditions with pipe connection elevations.

During the work, the intersection will be closed full, 24 hours a day. Radnor Township Police will facilitate the closure by being positioned on the eastern and western ends of the work area.

Drivers will be detoured to use Sproul Road, Lancaster Avenue, County Line Road, and Conestoga Road. See the detour route online here.

Officials warned drivers of delays and traffic congestion as a result of the work.

Drivers should allow extra travel time or use an alternate route.

Emergency services, school buses, and solid waste, recycling collection will have access to Spring Mill Road.

Traffic for this work will be directed through a lane closure with flag persons.
