Trapped Driver Rescued From Blue Route 3-Vehicle Crash
The driver of a pickup truck was trapped in the vehicle for about 30 minutes and was taken to a local hospital after being rescued.

A crash on Interstate 476 South left one person trapped and caused major backups in the Main Line area Monday morning, according PennDOT and emergency responders.
According to the Radnor Professional Firefighters Association, crews were called to 476 South near Conestoga Road at about 10:45 a.m. for a three-vehicle crash involving a PennDOT truck, a sedan and pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was injured and entrapped in the vehicle.

After about 30 minutes of working to free the driver crews from Radnor, Marple, and Broomall fire companies freed the driver, who was taken to a local hospital.
Another person involved in the crash was also taken in for evaluation.

There is no word on their conditions.
The crash and response shut down travel lanes for some time, but the scene was clear by about noon.
