Darby Paoli Road In Radnor Restricted Next Week

The road will have restrictions next week related to the bridge replacement project, PennDOT said.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Darby Paoli Road in Radnor Township next week for tree clearing operations under a project to replace two bridges.

PennDOT said Darby Paoli Road will have restrictions between Brooke Road and Newtown Road.

Motorists can expect periodic flagging at this location Tuesday, January 21, through Friday, January 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will be clearing trees and doing utility construction through summer 2020 when the road will be fully closed for replacement of the bridge over Wigwam Run.

Darby Paoli Road is now closed between Newtown Road and Godfrey Road for replacement of the bridge over Little Darby Creek under the same project.

During the closure, Darby-Paoli Road motorists will continue to be detoured over Goshen Road, Route 252/Newtown Street Road and St. David’s Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
