The investigation was led by Detective Albert Matthew Hufnal of the Haverford Township Police Department with assistance from Detective Paul Corsi of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Child Abuse Unit and Jodi Kaplan of the Delaware County Child Advocacy Center (CAC).

"The horrific actions of the defendant, Michael Kaminsky, are deplorable, abhorrent and reprehensible, as he sexually abused an innocent 4-year old child who was entrusted in his care," Copeland said. "As he is currently incarcerated, and will likely be so for a long time, he can cause no more harm to this victim or any other children. I commend Haverford Township Police Detective Albert William Hufnal, and Detective Paul Corsi of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division who assisted, along with the Delaware County Child Advocacy Center and Assistant District Attorney Christopher Boggs of the District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit for their work on this case to protect this child victim and bring justice for him and his family."
