Delco Man Sexually Assaulted Girls, Took Photos Of Abuse: DA
Charles Orlando, who is already facing child porn charges, sexually assaulted two children and photographed the acts, the Delco DA said.

A Delaware County man who is already facing child pornography charges is now accused of sexually assaulting two children and photographing the assaults, according to county authorities.
District Attorney Katayoun M. Copeland said Charles Anthony Orlando, 41, of Aston, has been charged two felony counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child and five felony counts of photographing sexual acts with a child after allegedly sexually assaulting two young girls and photographing the acts in February 2011.
Orlando is already facing 25 counts of felony child pornography possession and 25 counts of felony criminal use of a communication facility after county investigators discovered at least 25 images of child pornography on his cell phone back in July.

The new charges are the result of an investigation conducted by Detective Sergeant Kenneth Bellis and Detective Edmond Pisani of the District Attorney’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
While investigating the previous charges, authorities found images depicting Orlando sexually abusing two minor female children on a memory card, according to the DA's office.

Investigators determined that each incident of alleged sexual abuse occurred in Norwood Borough where Orlando was living at the time, the DA's office said.
The incidents are estimated to have occurred in February 2011 and some were determined to have been taken inside Orlando's home and bathroom.
Orlando was arrested on July 25, and charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, both felonies of the third degree.
The arrest was a result of multiple reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a subscriber uploaded over 350 images of alleged child pornography to his Google Photos account.
Google identified the user name associated with the account as Orlando.
At about 6:30 p.m. on July 24, CID detectives and the Aston Police Department executed a search warrant at Orlando's trailer residence. Orlando was home at the time.
During the search, detectives recovered several electronic items including cellular telephones, a laptop computer, and a Sand Disk SD card, the DA's office said.
A preliminary examination of one of Orlando’s cellphones had at least 25 images of child pornography on it, according to the DA's office.
A subsequent forensic examination of the laptop computer conducted by Detective Edmond Pisani located 690 images – 244 of which were unique – of child pornography, the DA's office said.
"The horrific actions of the defendant, Charles Orlando, are inconceivable, deplorable and abhorrent, as he sexually abused... two children, and further exploited them through the creation of child pornography depicting his appalling actions,” said District Attorney Katayoun Copeland. “As he is currently incarcerated, Mr. Orlando can cause no more harm to these innocent children, who have suffered tremendously at the hand of their own father. In partnership with our local police, detectives with CID and the ICAC Task Force, we will continue to actively work daily to locate and arrest individuals who seek to harm our innocent children. I would like to commend CID Sergeant Kenneth Bellis and Detective Edmond Pisani and the ICAC Task Force, as well as the Norwood Borough Police and Aston Township Police for their work on this case.”
Orlando is incarcerated at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 3. Assistant District Attorney Christopher Boggs will be prosecuting the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
